నెను కూడా దాదాపు సెం చెసాను. ఇధి పని చెసింధి. చూడండి నా బ్రౌసరు ఎంత ముద్దొస్తున్ణ్ద్దద్దొ. (attachment) I tried control panel -> Regional and Language Settings -> Language (tab) -> check the check box for "Install script for complex languages and right to left languages(including Thai).
Then i set Gouthami as the font in the forefox ( dont remember what was the default selection)
A restart of the laptop\pc might be a must, because i didnt see any difference when i did the changes, but to my surprise it worked fine, when i rebooted my laptop.
Also i typed using padma extention for firefox to type in telugu. in the address bar what ever i typed (after checking telugu check box in the menu bar) came in telugu.
But other concern is there is no uniformity in the telugu conversion. lekhini, padma etc all have differences in the way how they are interpreting the key press. they are similar but there is observable difference. I think lekhini the best thing that i came across. other tools might need some javascript updation.

Lekhini is based on Padma. So you wont find much difference between the two.
By the by all the tools you mentioned are based on a standard known as RTS.
But each has its own tweaks to enable easier typing in english. For example in lekhini to type "మనం" you can type "manam" but other strict RTS tools you might have to type "manaM". Though the thing to note is lekhini is always maintained to be compatible to RTS, in the sense that even "manaM" works. For that reason all the tools based on RTS support the same standard keystrokes to achieve the same result.
