The International Association for Private Service Professionals (IAPSP) is a membership-base trade association created for, and dedicated to, the individuals who are employed in private service.  Recently registered as a non-profit corporation with the State of Nevada (USA), we have additionally applied for a 501(c)(6) status with the IRS and will continue to pursue our international corporate charters.

The IAPSP represents the managerial-level professionals of the private service community including; Estate Managers, Butlers, Household Managers, Personal Assistants, Management Couples, Private Chefs, Managers of Executive Protection, Nanny Managers, Enlisted Aides, Protocol Officers and more.  It also includes the Placement Agencies, Educators, Consultants and Vendors who support the Luxury Market.

Similar institutions were talked about and attempted for years under different names and leadership.  After these failings, the IAPSP was launched at Starkey International's "Restoring the Art" conference in June of 2006 by a select group of industry leaders.  Since that time we have seen steady growth as we extend our arms outward, embracing this international community.  Our association is about inclusion, recognition, education, networking and standardizing that which seems at first to defy definition.  Holding fast to a powerful vision, our devoted group of Charter Members and our volunteer Board of Directors continue to make great strides forward in creating viable means of networking among our members, establishing a professional image, building an internet presence of our own and organizing educational and social outlets for the community to enage in.

We have no knowledge of anything like us ever existing long term - and we take that challenge seriously!  As we grow in numbers and increase our services, this private service community can be assured that we will consider all members with fairness, dignity, intelligence and professionalism.  We have an open door policy, an open mind, and above all, a mature and open service heart.  We pledge to listen to each voice in the community and provide services where our resources allow.
