I'm trying to find information on head end traffic on ICs passenger
trains (i.e. the types of cars used). I've found information about
head end traffic on passenger trains in general but nothing specific
to IC. All the photos I can find show bagage cars and RPOs in the IC
livery, but I can't find any images of REA refers or anything non

Good morning all:
Does any one have info on the facilities at Bluford during steam days?
I looked at google earth and the microsoft program and it looked like
there is nothing there. I can't even see a outline of a roundhouse. If
this was a major engine change point, there must have been a shop

Hi, David Little here. I live in Aiken, SC and we are currently
building a a full scale replica of the city's original train station.
As part of the project, we purchased the above dining car from the
Hale family in Murray, Kentucky. It is reported they purchased the car
in 1987 (part of a three car purchase) from the railroad. The cars

My mother yelled at me for collecting them in the early 70s. My wife is
yelling at me because I still have a bunch of them.
I remember hooping it up on the Iowa Division and forms 44 & 19.

The schedules for M337 & M338 were recently changed putting both trains
through Dubuque at non-photogenic times. Today, M337 was running later
than normal and I managed to get some fair lighting as the train came
into Dubuque.
